Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the follow-up of the Assistant Professor and Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani held an expanded meeting with the activities coordinators of the College’s academic departments.
The meeting reflects the College’s commitment to strengthening and organizing student and academic activities in alignment with the academic plan and the University’s strategic vision. The Deanship emphasized its central role in supervising, coordinating, and evaluating scientific, cultural, and awareness activities to ensure their quality and institutional impact.
During the meeting, participants discussed the activity plan for the current semester, mechanisms for documentation and assessment, and strategies to enhance student participation. Proposals were reviewed to diversify activities across scientific, cultural, and educational fields in order to develop students’ leadership and professional skills. It was also agreed to form follow-up teams within departments to ensure proper implementation according to a clear timeline and quality standards.
The Dean highlighted the importance of engaging a large number of students in extracurricular activities, emphasizing their role in building well-rounded university graduates and fostering a collaborative academic environment.
The meeting witnessed distinguished attendance, including departmental activities coordinators and representatives from several academic departments, reflecting the College’s dedication to creating a dynamic and supportive academic atmosphere.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting complementary educational activities, Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) by promoting good institutional governance, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through enhanced internal academic collaboration.
