The launch of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI) has been officially announced as a national scientific event aimed at promoting technological creativity and enhancing students’ skills in the fields of robotics, intelligent systems, artificial intelligence, and unmanned systems. According to the announcement, team registration and project submission are conducted officially through the championship’s website and will continue until 1/7/2026. Iraqi university students are invited to actively participate in this scientific event, which serves as a competitive platform for discovering talents and supporting applied projects. The championship aspires to become the largest national scientific platform for university robotics in Iraq by fostering innovative engineering solutions and building an advanced research environment in robotics and artificial intelligence, in line with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the rapid technological development linking the physical, digital, and biological worlds. The competition is based on six specialized tracks: agricultural, medical, industrial, environmental, education, and community service, enabling students to direct their projects toward serving society and achieving sustainable development goals. The championship aims to strengthen applied scientific research and connect it with community needs, develop students’ skills in artificial intelligence, robotics, and mechatronics, encourage teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration, and support promising projects by transforming them into valuable national products.
