Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, as well as the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. AbdulKadhim AbdulKareem, the Department of Artificial Intelligence in the College of Science organized a scientific workshop entitled: Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, delivered by Lecturer Aya Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Ali, on Monday, 7/2/2026, with the attendance of several students from the department. The workshop highlighted the key applications of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector, including intelligent diagnostic systems, medical image analysis, clinical decision support, and the role of machine learning techniques in improving healthcare quality and accelerating medical procedures. The session witnessed active student participation through discussions and questions, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of the importance of applying AI technologies in vital fields and connecting theoretical concepts to practical applications. This activity is part of a series of scientific initiatives organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence to support the educational process and develop students’ scientific and research skills, keeping pace with the rapid advancements in modern technologies.
