As part of awareness activities aimed at promoting community stability and fostering a culture of respect within the family, a campaign was conducted today to distribute educational brochures on domestic violence across several educational and community facilities, with the participation of students and individuals interested in social issues.
The activity was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar and Assistant Lecturer Ghadir Haider Abbas, and witnessed positive engagement and interest in the awareness content provided.
The brochure included a definition of domestic violence and its various forms, such as physical, psychological, and verbal abuse, while highlighting its negative impact on individuals, families, and society. It also contained guidance on how to handle cases of violence and emphasized the importance of seeking help from relevant authorities, aiming to enhance family protection and build a safer and healthier family environment.
