The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized an awareness seminar titled “Violence Destroys… Peace Builds” as part of cultural activities aimed at promoting values of tolerance and rejecting violent behaviors within the university community. The seminar was presented by Lecturer Muntadhar Saleh Mahdi and Teaching Assistant Hala Muhannad Ismail. The seminar included an educational lecture that focused on highlighting the psychological and social effects of violence, and the role of students in promoting a culture of dialogue, understanding, and respect for differences. It also emphasized the importance of building a safe university environment based on cooperation and teamwork, which positively impacts student development and supports their academic journey. The seminar witnessed notable student engagement through questions and discussions addressing ways to confront violence and promote positive behavior in daily life, contributing to instilling values of peace and respect within the university community.
