President of Al-Mustaqbal University Inaugurates the New University Council Hall and Affirms the Continuation of Institutional Development Efforts

The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, inaugurated the new University Council Hall, constructed in accordance with the latest engineering and technological standards. The facility is designed to enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen academic decision-making, and align with the requirements of institutional governance and accreditation. The inauguration coincided with the seventh session of the University Council for the 2025–2026 academic year, attended by the Vice Presidents and Deans. This step reflects the University Presidency’s commitment to providing an integrated institutional environment that supports both academic and administrative functions. At the outset of the session, the University President extended his congratulations to the university community on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized that infrastructure development forms part of a comprehensive strategic vision aimed at advancing the quality of education, supporting scientific research, promoting publication in reputable indexed journals, accelerating digital transformation, adopting clean energy solutions on campus, and expanding academic partnerships at both national and international levels. He also commended the university’s recent achievements, most notably the American accreditation obtained by the College of Pharmacy, the top national program ranking achieved by the Department of Power Mechanics Techniques, and the advanced standings secured by several departments in the national classification—reflecting the dedicated efforts of the academic and administrative staff. The Council further reviewed preparations for upcoming scientific activities, institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements, and the status of first-semester examinations. The session concluded with the adoption of several decisions and recommendations aimed at supporting the university’s progress and strengthening its academic standing.
