The Head of the Department of English at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, Dr. Salam Hassan Maki, held an expanded meeting with the department’s administrative staff on Monday, 23 February 2026, with the aim of reviewing and developing administrative and organizational pathways in support of the academic progress of students and the advancement of the department. The meeting addressed several key areas to ensure efficiency and institutional excellence. Emphasis was placed on full adherence to university regulations and official guidelines, reinforcing a strong sense of institutional responsibility. Discussions also focused on improving student services through effective follow-up of students’ affairs and the accurate and timely completion of administrative procedures. In addition, the meeting explored mechanisms for enhancing administrative efficiency by modernizing work procedures, reducing routine processes, and promoting smoother workflow within the department. Dr. Salam Hassan Maki stressed that the department’s success relies fundamentally on teamwork and collective responsibility, noting that these efforts align with the directives of the Deanship of the College of Education and the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first in Iraq.
