In a move to strengthen academic and cultural partnerships, a delegation from the English Department at the College of Education, University of Al-Mustaqbal, visited the College of Basic Education at the University of Babylon to deliver an official invitation to participate in the upcoming “Shakespeare Festival.” The delegation met with the Head of the English Department at the College of Basic Education, Professor Dr. Asaad Qahtan, where the invitation was formally presented and the festival’s organizational aspects were discussed. The discussion focused on theatrical activities, participation mechanisms, and strategic objectives aimed at enhancing linguistic and literary skills and exchanging experiences between the two universities. The University of Al-Mustaqbal delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Salam Hasan Maki, Head of the Department, and accompanied by Assist. Lect. Rasha Ihsan Saadoun, Dr. Mamoun Sami Saleh, Assist. Lect. Zainab Karim, and Ms. Aya Firas Ne’ma. This initiative aligns with University of Al-Mustaqbal’s vision of leading the cultural and academic scene and building bridges of creative collaboration with Iraq’s prestigious educational institutions.
