Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts and Human Sciences (Department of English Language and Literature), held a workshop titled "Negative Phenomena Facing Girls and Women in Educational Institutions." The session was presented by Asst. Lect. Rusul Ni’ma Kamal on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The workshop aimed to shed light on various challenges women encounter within educational settings, such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, and both verbal and digital violence, while seeking to enhance social awareness regarding the culture of respect and equality. Additionally, it focused on empowering female students to understand their legal rights and the institutional protection mechanisms available to them. This initiative aligns with the implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 5: Gender Equality). Al-Mustaqbal University..
