(Partnerships for the Goals),As part of its strategic direction toward expanding
academic cooperation and reinforcing integration between public and private universities, the President of Future University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, signed a joint scientific and academic Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Al-Qadisiyah. This step aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the university presidency’s vision of institutional openness and exchange of expertise.
The agreement was signed during an official visit by a delegation from Future University headed by the University President. The delegation included the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza, and the Director of the Cultural Relations Department, Dr. Samir Badrawi.
The delegation was received by the President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Professor Dr. Rahi Al-Yasiri, along with the university’s vice presidents and several academic leaders. Discussions focused on prospects for joint scientific and research cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes several key areas, most notably: conducting joint scientific research, participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops, exchange of academic visits, joint supervision of postgraduate students, benefiting from established experiences in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, capacity building for faculty members, summer training programs for students, and curriculum development. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of higher education and achieve sustainable scientific and developmental impact.
