Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Medical Intelligent Systems Department at the College of Science organized a training workshop entitled:
“Qualifying University Students to Participate in the NURAI 2026 Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Championship.”
The workshop was attended by several staff members of the Medical Intelligent Systems Department, along with students from various university departments. It addressed key topics related to participation mechanisms in the championship, project preparation requirements in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, and presented practical examples of ideas that can be developed in line with international competition standards.
The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manea, Head of the Department; Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Kazem Al-Gharabi, Head of the Cybersecurity Department; Assistant Lecturer Ali Salim Halim; and Assistant Lecturer Najat Hamid Jasim. They emphasized the importance of participation in enhancing students’ skills and fostering innovation and teamwork.
This activity aligns with the department’s vision to support scientific and technological initiatives, enabling students and staff to keep pace with rapid developments in artificial intelligence and strengthening the university’s presence in academic and competitive events at both local and international levels.
