The Medical Intelligent Systems Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an educational awareness campaign entitled “Together for Breast Cancer Prevention and Early Detection”, as part of its ongoing efforts to support health initiatives and promote community awareness of common diseases and prevention methods. The campaign included informative sessions on breast cancer, its most common symptoms and warning signs that require medical consultation, as well as the importance of regular screening and early detection in increasing recovery rates and reducing complications. Awareness posters and brochures were also distributed, explaining self-examination methods and the latest treatment approaches. The campaign witnessed remarkable engagement from students and staff members of the college. The organizers emphasized that such activities contribute to strengthening health awareness and encouraging preventive behaviors that help protect the community. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to leveraging smart medical systems to serve community health issues and to reinforcing the university’s role in promoting health education and supporting sustainable development goals related to good health and well-being. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
