Engineer Rand Ma’an Ahmed conducted a distinguished scientific workshop for second-year evening study students entitled, “From Theory to Application in Designing and Simulating Electronic and Electrical Circuits Using Multisim,” as part of efforts to support the practical aspect of learning and enhance students’ applied skills.
The workshop aimed to link the theoretical concepts that students study in electrical and electronic circuits courses with practical application through simulation software, thereby reinforcing scientific understanding and developing the ability to analyze and design circuits professionally.
The workshop included a detailed explanation of how to use Multisim to draw electronic circuits, perform simulations, measure voltages and currents, analyze results, and detect and correct errors before practical implementation. Various applied examples of different circuits were also presented, giving students the opportunity to engage directly and conduct virtual experiments that simulate real laboratory environments.
During the workshop, Engineer Rand Ma’an Ahmed emphasized the importance of modern engineering software in developing the skills of evening study students and keeping pace with technological advancements. She noted that practical training through simulation helps reduce errors, saves time and effort, and enhances students’ confidence before moving to actual laboratories.
