In a commendable initiative reflecting the spirit of cooperation and interaction among students, second-year students from the Department of English, College of Education, at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a friendly football match with their counterparts from the Department of English at the Islamic University / Babel Branch, in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and fair competition. The event was graciously supported and organized by the Central Student Activities Department, which provided all necessary arrangements to ensure the success of the match, while the Media Department supervised and covered the event, highlighting the university’s interest in extracurricular activities and their role in fostering teamwork and collaboration among students. The match witnessed a remarkable attendance of faculty members from the College of Education and a large number of students, who actively engaged with the game, creating a lively and positive sporting atmosphere characterized by high ethical standards and mutual respect between both teams, truly embodying the spirit of sportsmanship as a means of strengthening relationships and collaboration. The match concluded with a 2-1 victory for Al-Mustaqbal University, reflecting the team’s preparation, coordination, and outstanding performance, while both teams were praised for their sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the game. This initiative highlights the importance of student activities in developing skills, promoting initiative, and strengthening cooperation between academic institutions, in line with the university’s vision to support youth talent and develop their abilities across various fields.
