Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Radhan, the College of Education, Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, held an awareness seminar on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, entitled "The Role of Individuals in Building Societies." The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul-Jabbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Kadhim Mawla, and Assistant Lecturer Ammar Majid Muafi. The discussion focused on how to cultivate effective roles to achieve sustainable development and improve quality of life by emphasizing the meaning of social roles and the key criteria that contribute to the differentiation of social roles. The seminar also clarified the concept of role conflicts and how to address them. Professor Ammar also addressed the importance of time management, social support, and effective communication among individuals and its role in strengthening the roles of all members of society according to gender, age, and occupation. The seminar concluded with a practical exercise demonstrating how to transform from a student's role to that of a successful instructor, based on the themes discussed.
