A scientific seminar titled "Customs Tariffs and Economic Diversification" was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadel Rassan Al-Tamimi. The seminar addressed the importance of customs tariffs and their role in strengthening the national economy, in addition to reviewing economic diversification strategies and their impact on the growth of various sectors. The seminar witnessed active participation from faculty members and students, providing an opportunity for discussion and exchange of expertise and ideas regarding the challenges and opportunities in this vital field. This seminar was organized as part of the department’s commitment to enhancing students’ knowledge of economics and finance and encouraging them to follow scientific and practical developments in the fields of economics and trade policies.
