The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, inaugurated the new University Council Hall, which was designed and equipped according to the latest international standards, contributing to the enhancement of the institutional environment, improving administrative efficiency, and supporting the academic decision-making process. The inauguration coincided with the seventh session of the University Council for the academic year 2025–2026, attended by the vice presidents and deans. During the session, the University President extended his congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, noting that the development of infrastructure is part of a strategic vision aimed at meeting institutional accreditation requirements and elevating the quality of educational performance. The session highlighted the importance of supporting scientific research, advancing digital transformation, and adopting clean energy initiatives, in addition to expanding the scope of academic cooperation. The Council also commended the university’s achievements, including the College of Pharmacy obtaining American accreditation and the advancement of several academic departments in national rankings. The session concluded with discussions of the agenda items and the adoption of a set of recommendations and decisions that support the university’s progress and enhance its academic presence both nationally and internationally.
