The Department of biology at Al-Mustaqbal University, under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Zeinab Nazem Aziz and Asst. Lecturer Doaa Salah Sahib, organized an awareness campaign on Steps for Recycling, aiming to enhance environmental awareness among university members. The campaign included the distribution of informative brochures throughout the university corridors, highlighting the importance of recycling and proper waste management practices, contributing to promoting sustainability and environmental protection within the campus. The campaign also featured short informative sessions for students and staff, discussing the benefits of recycling at both local and global levels, and encouraging active participation in environmental initiatives to foster a culture of social responsibility within the university community. This initiative underscores the commitment of the Department of biology to spreading environmental awareness and integrating it into academic and community activities, shaping a conscious generation that contributes to environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources
