The Department of Biology organized an awareness campaign entitled "The Importance of University Education for Women" on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Duha Salah Sahib, with the participation of Teaching Assistant Ghadeer Aqeel Ibrahim. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of university education and its role in empowering women academically and socially. The campaign included distributing awareness brochures in the university corridors to female students, focusing on the scientific and social benefits of university education and its role in developing intellectual and professional skills, as well as strengthening women’s ability to contribute effectively to society. The campaign also involved direct discussions with female students to emphasize the importance of continuing higher education and encouraging them to pursue their academic and career goals. This campaign reflects the Department of Biology’s commitment to promoting educational awareness and supporting women’s academic advancement in various scientific fields.
