A specialized scientific workshop titled "The Use of Laser Devices in Laboratories" was held on February 23rd, presented by Asst. Lecturer Hamza Abbas Jawad and Ahmed Abdul Salam. The workshop provided an in-depth analytical study of modern laser technology applications within laboratory environments and explored ways to enhance the efficiency and precision of scientific testing. The session explored several scientific pillars, most notably the various types of laboratory laser systems, safe operating protocols, and equipment maintenance strategies to ensure consistent results. Additionally, it highlighted the technical tools necessary for utilizing lasers in advanced research, emphasizing that technological advancement in laboratories is a fundamental cornerstone of scientific innovation and academic excellence. The event concluded with an open discussion and the presentation of methodological recommendations aimed at fostering laboratory safety and quality standards. This initiative aligns with Goal 9 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and Goal 4 (Quality Education), by enhancing technological capabilities and advancing scientific research.
