Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, the College of Law organized an interactive seminar entitled “Human Rights” on Tuesday, February 25, 2026, at the College Hall – Humanities Building, as part of its activities in the field of women’s rights. The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ru’a Khalid, a faculty member at the College of Law. In her lecture, she addressed the legal foundations of women’s rights within the broader framework of human rights, reviewing key national legislations and international conventions that guarantee their protection. She also highlighted the role of academic institutions in raising awareness, promoting a culture of respect for women’s rights, and reinforcing the principles of justice and equality in a way that contributes to building a balanced and stable society.
