Under the auspices of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and with the follow-up and supervision of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems headed by Prof. Dr. Mahdi Ebadi Mana, and the Department of Cyber Security headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Kazem Al-Gharabi, a scientific workshop entitled:
“REHABILITATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NURAI 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS”
In the presence of a number of university teachers and students, the workshop aimed to prepare students scientifically and practically for active participation in the NURAI 2026 Championship, by introducing the axes of competition and the requirements of teams, and mechanisms for developing artificial intelligence projects and robotic systems according to modern technical standards, contributing to enhancing the skills of innovation, teamwork and analytical thinking.
The workshop included a guidance presentation on methodologies for building prototypes, problem analysis, and developing smart solutions, in addition to clarifying the security aspects related to the design of digital systems, reflecting the integration of the specializations of smart medical systems and cybersecurity in supporting student projects.
The workshop witnessed a distinctive scientific interaction from the audience, as it put forward many inquiries and suggestions that contribute to raising the readiness of the student teams for active participation and representing the university honorably in the tournament.
At the end of the workshop, the importance of enabling students to engage in scientific and technical competitions, supporting initiatives that contribute to refining their skills and enhancing the university's presence in innovative forums was emphasized.
