A specialized scientific workshop titled "First Aid" was held on February 24th, presented by Asst. Lecturer Hussein Ali Abd. The workshop featured an analytical and practical study of the vital skills required for rapid intervention in emergencies, exploring ways to enhance primary response efficiency to save lives and minimize injury complications. The session explored several scientific and practical pillars, most notably handling cases of fainting, fractures, and wounds, as well as strategies for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Additionally, it highlighted the essential tools and supplies needed in a first aid kit, emphasizing that first aid awareness is a fundamental cornerstone in the architecture of community safety and humanitarian responsibility. The event concluded with a practical application session and the presentation of methodological recommendations aimed at fostering a "First Responder" culture within the university environment. This initiative aligns with Goal 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-being), by promoting health prevention and ensuring the provision of urgent and effective care.
