Under the patronage of Al-Mustaqbal University and the supervision of the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, the department organized an awareness campaign on diabetes prevention on Wednesday, 25-2-2026, at the University Center, with the participation of a group of students. The campaign was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and supervised by the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana. It was implemented by Ms. Waqar Jaffat Jassim and Assistant Lecturer Huda Nazzal Hussein through direct awareness sessions with students. The initiative aimed to promote health awareness about diabetes prevention, encourage early screening, and support healthy lifestyle practices, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being. The campaign witnessed notable student engagement and contributed to raising awareness about healthy behaviors, reinforcing the university’s role in community service and public health promotion. Al-Mustaqbal University – the first university in Iraq.
