The workshop addressed major negative phenomena that women and girls may face, including domestic violence, harassment, cyberbullying, as well as the health, psychological, and social risks associated with drug use. It highlighted preventive strategies, legal and community-based mechanisms to confront these challenges, and stressed the importance of raising community awareness to create a safe and supportive environment for women. Discussions included ways to protect women within the family and community, enhance girls’ self-confidence, and the role of education and guidance in risk prevention. The workshop also emphasized collaboration between students and faculty to maintain a healthy and secure university environment and to uphold ethical and professional standards. The activity aims to raise awareness within the university community, support women psychologically and socially, and promote a culture of respect and protection. It contributes to fostering empowerment and preventing negative phenomena that affect women and society, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women.
