Under the patronage of the President of the Future University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Fat Hamza Al-Sultani, Under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences, Dr. Abdulkazem Abdulkarim, In cooperation with the Division of Women's Affairs, The Women's Affairs Unit in the Department of Artificial Intelligence Sciences / Faculty of Science organized a scientific awareness workshop entitled: "The social challenges facing women in the modern era" The workshop was presented by Noor Hassan Obaid, on Saturday, 28/2/2026, in the presence of a number of students of the department. The workshop dealt with the most prominent social, psychological and economic challenges facing women in light of the rapid transformations that the world is witnessing, highlighting the impact of technological development and social media in shaping the roles and responsibilities of women within the family and society. The workshop also touched on the importance of scientific and professional empowerment of women, enhancing their self-confidence, and supporting their active participation in various areas of life, in order to contribute to building a balanced society based on justice and equal opportunities. The workshop aimed to enhance students' awareness of the importance of supporting and supporting women in facing challenges, spreading a culture of mutual respect, and consolidating the principles of equality and cooperation within and outside the university environment. These activities come within the framework of Future University's keenness to support awareness and community initiatives, in confirmation of its leading position as the first in private universities in Iraq, and its constant quest to raise the scientific and humanitarian level of its students.
