Under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Technologies, an expanded meeting was held today at 11:00 a.m., attended by the heads of the scientific units and divisions of the college, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Mohammed Kitab. During the meeting, the approved work programs and plans were discussed, and the work implemented during the previous period was reviewed. The Deanship emphasized the importance of providing the percentages of project completion, research plan achievement rates, and the progress rate of the engineering programmatic accreditation file, in line with quality requirements and approved academic standards. The meeting also addressed mechanisms for developing the administrative and organizational structure, redistributing tasks to ensure clarity of responsibilities among units and divisions, and preparing an organizational guide for each unit or division that clearly defines duties, authorities, and work procedures, thereby enhancing institutional performance efficiency. The Dean stressed his keenness on the proper handover and management of responsibilities, the necessity of submitting regular monthly reports reflecting the level of achievement and progress in implementing plans, and the importance of teamwork to achieve the college’s strategic goals and strengthen the path toward academic accreditation.
