Sponsored by Al-Mustaqbal University and supervised by the professors of the Mental Health branch at the College of Nursing, fourth-year students organized a scientific awareness activity entitled “Addiction and Its Impact on Generations,” aiming to highlight the dangers of various types of addiction. The activity addressed the risks of drug addiction, psychoactive substances, and behavioral addiction, as well as their psychological, social, and health impacts on individuals, families, and society. It also emphasized the importance of early awareness in protecting youth and building a conscious and responsible generation capable of facing challenges. The event witnessed active participation from several faculty members, who delivered specialized scientific lectures, conducted interactive discussions, and presented practical recommendations to enhance prevention efforts and provide psychological support for recovering individuals and their families.
