The campaign was led by Asst. Lect. Huda Nazzal Hussein, Asst. Lect. Bushra Hussein Atiyah, and Lecturer Waqar Jaffat Jassim. The activities included awareness lectures and guidance sessions addressing the forms, causes, and health, psychological, and social consequences of domestic violence, in addition to highlighting prevention methods and available support and reporting mechanisms.
The campaign also emphasized aligning its activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality), given their fundamental role in fostering a healthy, safe, and equitable society.
This initiative reflects the institution’s commitment to social responsibility and its continuous efforts to promote a culture of non-violence, tolerance, and family cohesion.
