Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana, student Muntadhar Abbas Jameel organized a training workshop entitled “Forensic Verification” at the Department of Forensic Evidence, College of Science.
The workshop aimed to develop students’ skills and enhance their scientific and practical competencies in the field of forensic verification by highlighting modern scientific methods and advanced techniques used in crime detection and forensic evidence analysis. The workshop topics were also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by emphasizing the promotion of justice and the rule of law, as well as Goal 4 (Quality Education), through providing a supportive educational environment that fosters the development of students’ specialized skills.
The workshop witnessed remarkable student engagement, featuring both theoretical explanations and practical applications that strengthened their understanding of the fundamental concepts of forensic verification. This initiative contributes to preparing students for the labor market and empowering them to effectively fulfill their future professional roles.
