The College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Radiology Techniques organized a humanitarian and scientific visit to Al-Noor Children’s Hospital on Sunday, March 1, 2026, as part of the department’s academic and community engagement activities. The visit was supervised by Mr. Karrar Baji Abdul-Sada and included third-year students.
The visit aimed to strengthen the students’ humanitarian and practical aspects by familiarizing them with the healthcare services provided to children and understanding the hospital work environment. The students also brought joy to hospitalized children by distributing gifts, toys, and flowers, reinforcing their sense of social responsibility and contributing to the preparation of professionally and ethically qualified healthcare cadres.
The program included a field tour of the hospital departments, where students observed the workflow and procedures followed in delivering pediatric healthcare services. This experience helped bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, enhance professional skills, and instill humanitarian values within healthcare practice.
This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to Good Health and Well-being and Quality Education, through promoting applied learning and developing students’ competencies to serve society and the healthcare sector in the future.
