Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry organized a workshop titled "Digital Reality and the Role of Women in the Development and Economic Utilization of Programming" on Wednesday, 25/2/2026. The workshop was presented by Ms. Zahraa Haider Kazem Abdul-Amir, as part of the implementation of the National Third Plan for Women, Peace, and Security / Pillar of Protection and Prevention, Paragraph Two. The workshop addressed Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 9 (Gender Equality; Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). It aimed to enhance the role of women in the technological era and provide full support in academic and digital development, enabling them to practice their professions in various technology-driven fields, in addition to healthcare. The workshop also focused on strengthening women’s work in the digital space through cybersecurity expertise and developing robust digital protection systems to safeguard their projects, especially against challenges such as cyber-extortion and intellectual property theft. It emphasized that proper awareness and strong protection ensure women’s advancement in economic and innovative sectors during the technological renaissance.
