The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, the first among private universities in Iraq, held an online workshop titled “A Journey in Digital Design”, presented by Technician Zaid Mahmoud Shaker, on Wednesday, 04/03/2026, via Google Meet, with the participation of a number of the department’s students. The workshop began with a theoretical explanation of the key concepts and fundamentals of graphic design. It then moved to a practical demonstration inside Adobe Photoshop, where the presenter introduced the most important basic tools used in design and explained how they are applied in creating digital designs. The workshop witnessed active interaction and participation from students through questions and discussions during the session, which contributed to enhancing the academic benefit and clarifying practical concepts related to digital design. This workshop comes as part of the department’s scientific activities aimed at developing students’ digital skills and keeping pace with technological advancements in design fields, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by supporting students’ technical and knowledge-based skills.
