The President of Al-Mustaqbal University chairs a series of meetings to follow up on the scientific and academic performance in the university’s colleges.

In line with its institutional approach aimed at consolidating quality standards and advancing academic performance across the university, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired a series of extensive meetings with the university’s colleges. The meetings were dedicated to following up on scientific and academic performance and were attended by the vice presidents, deans of colleges, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, as well as the directors of relevant departments. These meetings come as part of a periodic program aimed at evaluating the achievements of the colleges and monitoring the implementation of development plans. During the meetings, a comprehensive review was conducted of the work procedures adopted in response to the directives of the university presidency, with emphasis placed on the importance of completing the requirements for programmatic and institutional accreditation as a fundamental pillar for ensuring the quality of academic programs and their alignment with national and international standards. The meetings also addressed the level of progress in implementing scientific research plans, as well as mechanisms for supporting high-quality research outputs and encouraging publication in reputable scientific journals, in a way that strengthens the university’s research standing and reinforces its presence in academic rankings. Emphasis was also placed on the need to activate scientific and academic cooperation agreements with local and international universities and institutions, and to expand areas of research and educational partnerships in a manner that contributes to the development of academic programs and the exchange of expertise. In a related context, the university presidency reviewed with the colleges the ongoing preparations for organizing the Future Sustainability Week, scheduled to take place in mid-April. The event will include a range of scientific activities, conferences, workshops, and awareness initiatives that promote the culture of sustainability and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, in alignment with the university’s strategic vision and its academic and societal mission. During the meetings, the University President emphasized the importance of integrating the roles of academic and administrative leadership and continuing to work in a unified team spirit to ensure the development of the educational environment and the achievement of academic and research outcomes that meet the requirements of development and the labor market. He also stressed the need to enhance the colleges’ websites through the publication of high-quality initiatives and scientific activities that reflect the university’s real academic dynamism and strengthen its institutional and media presence. In addition, he highlighted the importance of involving staff members in specialized training courses within the capacity-building program in the field of digital transformation, which contributes to developing technical and administrative skills and supports the path toward comprehensive institutional modernization.
