Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by ranking first among private universities and colleges in Iraq in the SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR), one of the internationally recognized global rankings for evaluating the performance of universities and research institutions. This achievement reflects the university’s advanced research performance, as the SCImago ranking relies on a set of composite indicators that include research performance (50%), innovation output (30%), and societal impact (20%), based on data extracted from the Scopus global database. This progress represents the continuous efforts of the university’s academic staff, researchers, and students, contributing to strengthening Al-Mustaqbal University’s position in higher education and supporting the development of scientific research and innovation in Iraq.
