The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized workshop titled “Ceramics and Its Artistic Techniques”, presented by the lecturer Asst. Lect. Noor Ali Raji, with the attendance of a number of students interested in plastic and craft arts. The workshop introduced ceramic art as one of the ancient visual arts. The lecturer reviewed the most important techniques of clay forming and artistic processing methods that contribute to producing ceramic works with aesthetic and functional value. She also explained the basic stages of creating ceramic pieces, starting from shaping the clay to firing and coloring. The workshop aimed to develop students’ creative skills and enhance their ability to employ natural materials in producing innovative artworks, which contributes to developing their artistic and technical abilities in the field of art education. This workshop comes within the framework of achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting quality education and developing students’ creative skills, as well as encouraging innovation in artistic and cultural fields within the university environment....Almustaqbal University, The First University in Iraq.
