Under the patronage of the President of Al‑Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al‑Sultani, a scientific workshop titled “Women Between Challenges and Ambition: A Journey of Strength and Change” was held on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The workshop was organized by the Women’s Affairs Division in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science / Department of Intelligent Medical Systems. The workshop highlighted the vital role of women in facing challenges and achieving ambitions, as well as strengthening their ability to adapt and develop across various fields. It also focused on the concept of recovery as a key pillar in supporting and empowering women to overcome difficulties and restore psychological and social balance, contributing to building a more stable and sustainable society. The workshop was presented by lecturer Assist. Lecturer Najat Hamid Jassim, who discussed the most significant challenges facing women and explored ways to enhance their role in society. She also introduced several ideas and recommendations aimed at supporting women’s empowerment and strengthening their ability to achieve positive change. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
