The Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Arts and Human Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an educational workshop titled Educational Counseling and its Role in Building the University Student’s Personality. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Muslim Mohammed Lehmood and Dr. Ahmed Hani Nayef with the attendance of faculty members and students. The session explored the strategic importance of educational counseling as a fundamental pillar in the educational process contributing directly to refining students’ skills and providing academic and psychological guidance to ensure the integration of their personalities within the university environment. The speakers highlighted that the role of an educational counselor transcends traditional advising to include building a value system that enhances self-confidence and develops critical thinking and resilience against future challenges. The workshop concluded by emphasizing the necessity of continuous communication between students and the educational institution to foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity and academic excellence.
