The lecturer, Asst. Lect. Shadan Salah Abdul, from the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, participated in an awareness workshop entitled “Violence Against Women,” which aimed to raise societal awareness about this phenomenon and highlight its negative effects on individuals, families, and society. The workshop addressed several important topics, including an introduction to the concept of violence against women and its various forms, its main causes and psychological and social consequences, as well as emphasizing the role of community awareness and educational institutions in reducing this phenomenon and promoting a culture of mutual respect within society.
