The Department of biology organized an awareness campaign entitled “Basics of Health and Personal Hygiene” under the supervision of the lecturer Asst. Lect. Duha Salah Sahib, on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with the aim of enhancing students’ health awareness and promoting healthy daily habits. The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures to students in the corridors of the department. These brochures contained several guidelines and tips highlighting the importance of personal hygiene and its role in preventing diseases and maintaining both individual and community health. During the campaign, students were also educated about the most important daily health practices, such as maintaining proper hand and body hygiene and preserving a clean university environment, as these practices play a significant role in promoting public health and reducing the spread of diseases. This campaign comes as part of the awareness activities organized by the Department of biology which aim to spread health culture among students and strengthen the role of educational institutions in building a healthy and aware society.
