The Department of Media in the College of Arts and Humanities at Al-Mustaqbal University received the Central Quality Committee during a field visit to review the requirements of programmatic accreditation and to follow up on the extent of applying its standards within the department. The visit included reviewing the department’s programmatic accreditation files, examining the study plans and academic courses along with their contents, in addition to following up on the mechanisms for developing educational programs in accordance with the approved quality standards. The committee also discussed with the head of the department and a number of faculty members ways to enhance the quality of academic programs and develop learning outcomes, in a manner that contributes to raising the academic level of students and achieving the requirements of programmatic accreditation. For its part, the Department of Media affirmed its commitment to completing the requirements of programmatic accreditation and implementing quality standards, in a way that strengthens the department’s academic standing and keeps pace with modern developments in the field of media.
