The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering held a Practical Workshop on Transtibial Amputation Measurements (Transtibial Amputation Measurements Workshop) as part of its scientific and training activities aimed at developing students’ practical skills and linking them to theoretical knowledge.
The workshop aimed to introduce **transtibial amputation**, accurately identify the **anatomical landmarks of the residual limb**, master **length and circumference measurements** correctly, understand their impact on **socket design**, and enhance students’ practical skills while connecting them to the theoretical aspect.
The workshop witnessed significant student engagement, focusing on hands-on applications that provide them with the necessary experience in prosthetic measurements, contributing to preparing qualified professionals to serve patients and the community.
