A Glimpse of Theoretical Lectures for Second-Year Forensic Evidence Students in Physics and Sound

As part of the academic program for the current semester, a series of theoretical lectures was delivered to second-year students of the Forensic Evidence Department in the course Physics and Sound. The lectures were presented by the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Sami Abdulhussein Habbana. The lecture was held in Hall (207) in the Humanities Building during the fifth week of the semester. The lectures addressed several scientific concepts related to the physics of sound and its applications in the field of forensic evidence. The session highlighted the importance of analyzing sound waves and the ways they can be utilized in criminal investigations, particularly in examining audio recordings and identifying related evidence. It also covered the fundamental physical principles of sound and modern scientific techniques used in sound analysis and identification. The lectures witnessed remarkable attendance and active engagement from students of Group (B), who showed great interest in the presented topics through questions and scientific discussions that helped strengthen their understanding of the course and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in forensic science.
