As part of the academic program for the current semester, a series of theoretical lectures was delivered to second-year students of the Forensic Evidence Department in the course Histology. The lectures were presented by Assistant Lecturer Huda Nazzal Hussein in Hall (208) at the Humanities Building during the fifth week of the semester.
The lectures covered several fundamental concepts in histology, including the structure and types of tissues in the human body, as well as the microscopic characteristics of different tissues and their roles in forming body organs and maintaining vital functions. The lectures also highlighted the importance of studying tissues in the field of forensic evidence, as it plays a significant role in analyzing biological samples and supporting scientific findings in criminal investigations.
The lectures witnessed remarkable attendance and active engagement from students of Group (A), who showed great interest in the topics presented by participating in scientific discussions and asking questions. This interaction helped enhance their understanding of the course material and connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the field of forensic science.
