Al-Mustaqbal University Strengthens the Culture of Innovation… University President Reviews Projects of the Artificial Intelligence Center and Affirms Support for Creative Initiatives As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to promote a culture of creativity and innovation and to adopt scientific initiatives that contribute to building a university environment that encourages entrepreneurial ideas, the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, visited the Artificial Intelligence Center at the university. During the visit, he reviewed a number of scientific projects and innovations being developed by the center’s researchers and specialists. During the visit, the President listened to a detailed explanation about the nature of the research projects, their development mechanisms, and the possibilities of employing them in various fields. The Director of the Center, Professor Dr. Nidhal Al-Abbadi, presented a comprehensive overview of the center’s activities and research programs, in addition to future plans aimed at expanding work in artificial intelligence applications in a way that enhances the university’s role in keeping pace with rapid scientific and technological transformations. The University President also met with several researchers and staff members at the center and reviewed samples of innovations currently under development. He provided a number of observations and directives intended to support these projects and enhance the chances of transforming them into practical applications that serve society and meet the needs of different sectors. During his remarks, the University President emphasized that the university places great importance on supporting creative ideas and promising scientific initiatives, noting that adopting innovative projects in advanced technologies—especially artificial intelligence applications—represents a key pillar of the university’s strategy to strengthen its academic reputation and expand its contribution to knowledge development and community service. The visit was also attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, along with several department directors from the university presidency.
