Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Women’s Affairs Division at the University Presidency, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Administrative Sciences / Department of Financial and Banking Sciences, organized a guidance lecture entitled “Balancing Professional and Family Life for Iraqi Women.” The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Najlaa Salem Mousa on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
The lecture aimed to introduce the concept of work–family balance and highlight the most significant challenges faced by Iraqi women in their professional and social lives. It also addressed the importance of developing time-management skills and organizing responsibilities in a way that helps achieve balance between work demands and family life.
The lecture emphasized the important role played by family and society in supporting and encouraging working women. It also presented a set of practical solutions and mechanisms that help women achieve balance and stability in their professional and family lives.
This activity comes in implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, and in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to support women’s issues and empower them, enhancing their active role in society.
