Under the patronage and supervision of the professors of the Medical Physics Department, College of Science, an awareness activity was held under the slogan “Be Supportive, Not an Obstacle”, aiming to enhance community awareness about the importance of supporting and empowering women in various aspects of life. The activity included presenting an awareness poster highlighting the vital role of society in supporting women psychologically, educationally, and socially. The poster addressed several key themes, most notably emphasizing that supporting women is a shared responsibility of everyone, and that women are not alone in facing life’s challenges. It stressed that support and respect are fundamental rights for women, not privileges. The poster also highlighted the importance of psychological support, such as listening and appreciation, as it plays a significant role in a woman’s life and helps strengthen her confidence and ability to contribute effectively to society. Furthermore, the activity focused on the role of women’s education and empowerment in building a stronger and more aware society, as educating women is considered one of the essential pillars of sustainable development. The poster also emphasized that violence against women is a crime rejected in all its forms, calling for the promotion of a culture of respect and support within society.
