The Department of Life Sciences Holds an Art Exhibition as Part of a Campaign Against Violence Against Women

The Department of Life Sciences organized an art exhibition as part of an awareness campaign against violence against women. The exhibition included a number of artistic paintings that portrayed different forms of violence against women, along with awareness messages highlighting the importance of combating this phenomenon and raising community awareness about it. The Department of Life Sciences participated in the exhibition with several artworks that reflected the students’ vision in expressing their rejection of violence against women and their call for respecting women’s rights and strengthening their role in society. The exhibition was attended by the Dean of the College of Science, the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, as well as a number of faculty members and students, who viewed the displayed artworks and praised the efforts made in organizing this awareness activity aimed at promoting a culture of respect, equality, and rejection of violence in all its forms. This activity also reflects the university’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to gender equality and women’s empowerment, by promoting awareness, encouraging respect for women’s rights, and contributing to building a safer and more just society for all.
