In the spirit of strengthening social solidarity and promoting humanitarian values during the holy month of Ramadan, Professor Dr. Saad Abdul Madi and Assistant Professor Dr. Thamer Abdul Hamza Mohammed Al-Alwani, along with a group of students from the Radiological Techniques Department, organized a humanitarian activity to distribute food baskets to a number of underprivileged families on Tuesday, March 10. This initiative aimed to support families in need and ease their living burdens during the blessed month, in addition to fostering a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility among students. The activity witnessed positive engagement from the participating students, who expressed their happiness in contributing to community service and promoting the values of cooperation and compassion that characterize the holy month of Ramadan. This activity comes as part of a series of community initiatives through which the department’s faculty members and students seek to strengthen the role of academic institutions in serving the community and reinforcing the principles of human solidarity.
