In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the Department of Medical Biotechnology at the College of Science organized an awareness campaign entitled “Violence Against Women.” The campaign aimed to highlight the dangers of violence against women and to raise community awareness about the importance of respecting women’s rights and their vital role in building society. The campaign was supervised by the lecturers Assistant Lecturer Saja Jawad Ubaid and Hiba Salah Hadi, who provided awareness and guidance to students about the different forms of violence against women and their negative impacts on individuals and society. They also emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of respect, equality, and support for women in various fields. This initiative comes as part of a series of awareness activities organized by the Department of Medical Biotechnology in line with efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and enhance community awareness of important humanitarian issues.
